A person lying on railroad tracks in Las Vegas was hit by a train and killed this morning, according to Metro Police.
The incident was reported about 7 a.m. near the 1700 block of Western Avenue, police said. “At this time, there are no suspicious circumstances associated with this event,” police said in a statement.
Western Avenue will be closed at the tracks for several hours, police said.
