MoveOn Political Action ran a TV ad during the Green Bay Packers game yesterday knocking U.S. Sen. Ron Johnson, R-Oshkosh, as an “out-of-touch millionaire.”
The group said the ad ran in the Green Bay and Milwaukee markets during the game.
The narrator says “MAGA Republican Ron Johnson loves private jets.” The narrator says Johnson is “upset his worth has…” before the spot switches to a clip of the senator saying “gone up only double” while in office.
The narrator adds Johnson “isn’t that into helping us,” saying he voted against lower drug prices, capping insulin costs, jobs and clean energy, and taxing the wealthy and big corporations.
“Gee, I wonder why?” the narrator says before the screen shows a headline, “Republican senator ‘personally benefited from tax change he sought.”
The narrator closes the spot, “Our wallets can’t take any more MAGA out-of-touch millionaires.”
