INDIANAPOLIS – No one was hurt after an overnight fire on the near east side.
According to the Indianapolis Fire Department, crews responded at 2:13 a.m. Tuesday to a vacant residence at 946 N. Kealing Ave.
Firefighters encountered heavy fire and smoke coming from the building, with some of it extending toward a house to the south.
Crews had the fire under control in about 15 minutes. The cause remains under investigation.
