On Monday, May 29, 2023, at approximately 11:42 a.m., The Yuma County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a deceased female in the area of Avenue 1E and County 18th Street.
During the initial investigation, it was determined the deceased to be a victim of a homicide.
The victim, identified as Georgina Montoya, 35, of Somerton, AZ, was pronounced deceased on scene.
