INDIANAPOLIS – A woman was critically injured in a crash on the near east side of Indianapolis.
According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, emergency responders were dispatched just after 4 a.m. Friday to the 1400 block of E. Washington Street.
IMPD said it appeared a car crossed over the middle lane before slamming into a utility pole.
The woman driving the car was critically hurt and taken to an area hospital, police said.
The crash remains under investigation.
