The festivities at the Banks, live music and food, are sure to get any Bengals fan ready for a win.”Everybody is having fun and laughing and dancing,” said mom Beth Harvey.And, of course, supporting their favorite players. The most common answers from kids? Joe Burrow, Ja’ Marr Chase and Joe Mixon. Parents like Harvey say its refreshing to be celebrating with her kids at the Banks, rather than home.”It’s a great night, great weather and we wanted to bring the kids out, bring them back to downtown Cincinnati. It’s been years since we really came down and celebrated,” she said. Others are excited to see a game in person. Jeremy and Kathy Thompson drove from Lima, Ohio.”Being there and watching it on TV are two different things. Being in the moment. It’s exciting,” Kathy said. And while it’s only the beginning of a long season, Bengals Nation is confident this is our year.“It’s no mishap. We got all the right people in the right places they need to be this year, it’s going to happen I feel it. I think everybody else feels it,” said Michael Brown. “We’re going to the Super Bowl again and we’re going to win, it’s happening,” Thompson said.No matter the outcome, Bengals fans say they are here for the long haul. The Cardinals won the preseason opener 36 to 23.
