Glenwood police said that three men were shot and one of them died while they were walking in the village Thursday night.
The three, all in their late teens, were walking just before 11 p.m. in the area of 192nd Street and University Avenue when a vehicle approached and several shots were fired from the vehicle, police said in a news release.
All three were shot, and two were expected to survive but the third teen died, police said.
Police said they are being assisted in the investigation by the South Suburban Major Crimes Task Force.
