TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Two people have been arrested after an “extensive” investigation was conducted by multiple law enforcement agencies.

According to the THPD, the agency assisted on April 11 around 9:00 a.m., in an Indiana State Police-led operation that was conducted a coordinated by the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force (ICAC).

Two search warrants were conducted and resulted in the arrest of Timothy W. Rudisel, 63, and Steven J. Ellis, 45, both residents of Terre Haute for possession of child pornography. 

THPD and the ICAC Task Force encourage residents to report any exploitation, solicitation, and enticement-type crimes against children witnessed online to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC).
