A significant service outage hit AT&T customers early Thursday morning.
Several AT&T wireless users reported having no signal, leaving them unable to make calls or send texts.
DownDetector.com, a website that tracks service outages, indicated a spike in complaints about AT&T service.
The websites “heat map” showed problems reported in several major cities, including Atlanta, Chicago, Los Angeles and Houston, among others.
AT&T’s website and social media accounts don’t mention an outage. Checking service in the Indianapolis on the company’s website returns a message saying, “All clear! No outages to report.
