INDIANAPOLIS — An investigation is underway after a man was struck and killed by a vehicle on the south side of Indianapolis Monday night.
Officers with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department were dispatched around 9:58 p.m. to the 4600 block of E. County Line Road after receiving reports that a pedestrian had been fatally struck in the area.
IMPD said the victim was transported to an area hospital where he later died. The driver remained on scene and has been cooperating with police, according to IMPD.
IMPD’s fatal crash team is currently on the scene investigating the circumstances of the deadly incident.
