On Sunday, a group of 20 senators, including Arizona Senator Kyrsten Sinema, announced that they had struck a bipartisan gun control deal. Sinema is joined by gun-control advocate Chris Murphy (D-Conn.), John Cornyn (R-Texas), and Thom Tillis (R-N.C.) as the lead negotiators of the deal.

According to Politico, “the most significant piece of the proposal would subject gun buyers 21 and younger to scrutiny of their criminal and mental health records as juveniles.”
