A worker who fell while on the roof of the Frankfort Grainery off North White Street and Kansas Street was treated for his injuries Thursday afternoon, according to a news release provided by Frankfort police.

Frankfort fire and police responded to The Grainery at about 2:30 p.m. and had to get to the top of the tower to help the worker, because he could not come down due to his injuries. Police later said the worker was removed from the tower, and received treatment and was transported by Frankfort Fire Protection District responders.

Police categorized his injuries as minor, and said the worker was servicing an antennae when he fell.
