A motorist fleeing police caused a “domino effect” crash that seriously injured at least three people and left several cars smashed on the city’s West Side Saturday.

About 11:45 a.m., police attempted to pull over a Honda Genesis in the 3800 block of West Madison Avenue but the driver disobeyed officers and continued on — plowing into a Honda Civic.

The collision caused the Civic to ram a parked Chevrolet Impala, triggering a domino effect when it hit several other parked vehicles, police said.

Paramedics were called to a pin-in crash that happened when a car slammed into a parked vehicle at a high rate of speed.

A 29-year-old man and a 27-year-old woman were taken in critical condition to Stroger Hospital A 31-year-old man also taken to Stroger, in serious condition, fire officials tweeted.

Charges were pending for the driver of the Genesis, who was apprehended in the 3800 block of West Washington Boulevard, where he was placed into police custody.

The Major Accident Unit was investigating.
