Chicago police have announced an arrest in the homicide that took place outside a Greyhound bus station in October.
Police superintendent David Brown said at a news conference Tuesday that first-degree murder charges are pending for a twice-convicted felon who was arrested Monday in Alabama.
On the morning of Oct. 24, a 30-year-old man was shot multiple times following a verbal altercation in the 600 block of West Harrison Street, according to police. Paramedics took the victim to Stroger Hospital in critical condition, where he was pronounced dead.
Police also announced the arrest of a 16-year-old in a case that killed 7-year-old Akeem Briscoe in October while he was inside his home.
