MISSOULA, Montana (KIFI) – The Idaho Falls Chukars picked up a big win Thursday night to stay in the playoff race, taking down the Missoula Paddleheads 8-6 to snap Missoula’s eight-game win streak.

The big spurt of offense came in the 3rd and 4th innings for the Chuks, when Idaho Falls scored six of its eight runs. Jose Reyes starred in those frames with a two-run home run and an RBI single.

Holding an 8-4 lead in the 9th, the Chukars surrendered two runs, but held on for the win to go above .500 and pull within four games of first in the north division.

Next up, the Chukars battle the Paddleheads once again Friday night in Missoula at 7:05 p.m. in game four of the six-game set.
