Grab your basket and bonnet for a final weekend of Easter egg hunts and activities for the children.
Easter egg hunts are back in full swing throughout the Jackson area after two years of COVID disruptions to Easter festivities.
Below is a listing of just some of the Easter events on schedule for this weekend.
Mississippi Ag Museum bunny trail
Gates for the bunny trail open at 10 AM, where youngsters can collect candy and toy-filled eggs. There will also be activities at Small Town and the new children’s barnyard, selfies with the Easter Bunny, the antique car show, egg dyeing, lawn games, and complimentary hot dogs.
Belhaven Heights Park Sunset Markets
Belhaven Heights Park | Saturday, April 16 from 4 – 7 PM | $5 to enter, kids under 13 are free
Magnolia Sunset Markets is back. Take Easter photos with the family while you’re there, check out the booths from local artisans, or with produce, food and more. They’ll also have four Easter baskets to raffle off.
Vault 390 Car Show
The Vault’s 2nd Annual Vault 390 Car Show is revving up for Easter weekend, with all makes and models welcome to attend for free. A family-friendly event, peruse the cars on showcase before grabbing a bite to eat at the mobile food court.
Children’s Museum Bunnies & Butterflies
Mississippi Children’s Museum | Saturday, April 16 | Free for MCM Members | $10 for Non-Members
Let your imagination take flight at the Children’s Museum’s Bunnies & Butterflies event. Little ones can play with live bunnies, and families can also check out the visiting artist workshops, a performance of “Flight of the Bumblebee” by the Mississippi Youth Symphony Orchestra.
