Two female pedestrians were killed in San Francisco after a taxi cab collision Sunday afternoon, according to multiple news reports citing city officials.
The two women were declared dead on the scene and a male pedestrian was rushed to the hospital with unspecified injuries, NBC Bay Area reported. The taxi driver was reportedly taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The crash happened around 4:30 p.m. at 3rd and Mission streets in the South of Market district. The taxi cab driver collided with another vehicle and the cab went onto a sidewalk outside of a business, NBC Bay Area reported.
