WisDems: ICYMI – Ron Johnson votes against advancing CHIPS legislation to address supply chain and costs

MADISON, Wis. — In response to Ron Johnson voting against against advancing the CHIPS legislation, Democratic Party of Wisconsin Senate Communications Advisor Philip Shulman issued the following statement:

“Instead of doing what is best for Wisconsin, Ron Johnson stood by his special interest allies and voted against investing in manufacturing, helping ease costs, improving our supply chain, and ensuring we can create needed technology in the United States. In November, Wisconsinites are going to hold Johnson accountable for failing to put their interests first.”
