Lane restrictions will be in place on Winton Road over I-275 on Tuesday afternoon after a cursory inspection found damage to the overpass. Due to the damage, Winton Road will be reduced to one lane in the northbound direction over I-275.The right and middle lanes are now closed. In addition, the center, left-turn lane on the ramp from I-275 East on Winton Road has been closed. A double one-lane closure will also be in effect tonight on I-275 West at the overpass for crews to inspect the bridge. The right and center lanes will be closed at 9 p.m., and all restrictions will be lifted on Wednesday at 6 a.m. The duration of the lane closures on Winton Road is unknown at this time; however, the restrictions will remain in place until further notice.
