Annual salary from £22,000 dependent on experience – Full time. Usual hours: Mon-Fri 9am-5pm. – 28 days holiday entitlement
JOB DESCRIPTION
We have an exciting full-time opportunity for someone that has a background in filming and wildlife to join our video team at the Robert Fuller Gallery in Thixendale, North Yorkshire. This role will be varied, and you will be liaising with 6 members of the team. Roles will include researching and clipping storylines, managing media, handling camera kit, editing video content, filming wildlife.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
– be extremely knowledgeable about wildlife.
– enjoy filming wildlife to a high standard using professional grade equipment.
– have an eye for a storyline.
– experience in managing video files.
– be able to produce high quality edited content.
– good knowledge of operating and setting up a wide range of camera equipment and microphones.
– Good IT skills
– Experience in outdoor work, such as building hides etc.
– Experience working with Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Bridge etc
PERSONAL SKILLS
– methodical, accurate and possess an eye for detail.
– work both on their own unsupervised and with other team members.
– able to follow current systems and workflows.
– be fit and capable to carry out physical work and filming tasks.
DAY TO DAY DUTIES
– Looking through raw footage and picking out storylines
– Organising and sorting media files
– Managing camera kit
– Editing short video content
– Assisting with building of hides and habitat creation
– Filming in remote locations
REQUIREMENTS
– Typically, applicants will have a wildlife related degree plus either video, camera editing skills or a master’s degree in wildlife filmmaking or be exceptionally knowledgeable about wildlife and filmmaking
– Full UK driving licence
