At the display in Moscow last week a group of students stared, impressed, at an anti-tank missile as a guide explained that this was a British weapon, the likes of which were being used, right now, against Russian soldiers. A menacing soundtrack droned like a warplane overhead and sinister murals of western soldiers covered the walls. An introductory sign stated that Nato was one of the world’s most aggressive alliances and unhesitatingly used force in its own interests.
