U.S. Rep. Tom Tiffany released a new digital ad in his reelection campaign for the 7th CD.
The spot is a $30,000 initial buy in the district, according to a spokesman for the Minocqua Republican’s campaign. It will run in the Duluth-Superior, Wausau-Rhinelander, Minneapolis-St. Paul and Eau Claire-La Crosse markets.
The spot features Tiffany and his mother, Virgal, talking about rising prices.
“The pickle business is great, but the costs are through the roof,” Virgal says, holding pickles in her hand.
“Sounds familiar,” Tiffany says.
“But that’s because you’re putting pressure on the big spenders that got us in this hot water,” Virgal responds.
Tiffany will face off against Dem Dick Ausman of Lac du Flambeau in the November general election.
