Tennessee Titans 2021 first-round pick and cornerback Caleb Farley is off to about the worst start to his career imaginable after two very disappointing seasons in the NFL.

Farley was limited to just three games in his rookie season after tearing his ACL. He returned in 2022, but lost out on the starting job to rookie Roger McCreary before suffering a season-ending back injury.

On top of long-term injury concerns — especially with his back that has now had three surgeries since college — Farley has struggled mightily when he has been on the field.

Despite how badly things have gone, Farley remains optimistic that he’ll turn it around over the remainder of his rookie contract in Tennessee, as he said in a social media post recently.

While fans are rightly skeptical Farley can bounce back, the fact that the 24-year-old is still expressing confidence in himself despite all the downs is definitely a good sign.

But it’s going to take more than confidence for Farley to turn things around. He’s going to have to stay healthy and play a lot better when given the opportunity.
