July Tour De Yankton Jobs Event
PIERRE, S.D. – The Department of Labor and Regulation (DLR) in partnership with Yankton Thrive and Riverfront Broadcasting will host its fourth Tour De Yankton Jobs Hiring Event on Tuesday, July 19, 2022, 3-5 p.m.
The Tour De Yankton Hiring Event is designed to allow job seekers the opportunity to explore a variety of career opportunities located in Yankton. Individuals are invited to stop by the participating businesses to learn about the company, apply for a position, and receive a confidential interview.
Participating business partners for the month of July include First National Bank, Great Plains Processing, Fryn’ Pan Family Restaurant, Parker Hannifin, Menno-Olivet Care Center, L & M Radiator, Ability Building Services, Hydro, S.D. Human Services Center, ASTEC, and Angelhaus.
Participating businesses can build brand awareness, find an untapped pool of qualified candidates, benefit from face-to-face interaction with potential employees, and save time and money finding qualified employees. Businesses are invited to sign up for future events by contacting the Yankton Job Service office.
Since the first event held in April, 61 individuals have applied for employment at 26 participating business partners.
The next event is scheduled for Tuesday, August 16. Events will be hosted on the third Tuesday of every month at no cost to the business or job seeker.
