SIOUX FALLS – Longtime assistant coach Blake Bradfield has been named as the new girls basketball head coach at Roosevelt High School.
Bradfield has coached in Sioux Falls for 17 years, all as an assistant coach. First, for six seasons, he was an assistant to O’Gorman boys head coach Derek Robey. For the last 11 seasons, he has been an assistant girls coach at Lincoln.
Bradfield replaces Chris Ageen, who stepped down last month to become the secondary principal at Baltic.
Roosevelt was 2-19 in 2021-22, losing to Washington in the AA SoDak 16.
