According to our WLWT reporter on the scene, Cincinnati Police are responding to a shooting that occurred at the intersection of E. Galbraith Road & Woodbine Avenue on Saturday. The shooting happened around 2:30 p.m. Police say that one male suspect fired at the victim in the lot of a Sunoco gas station, firing more than 10 rounds. The victim was hit in multiple places in his body, the back, leg, face and a foot, according to officials. Police say the incident was not random, nor did a fight break out to cause the shooting. It must have been intentional by the places the victim was shot and how many times he was hit. Officer Stephen Hoerst said “a shooting victim was shot by the suspect multiple times. Looks like he’s got three in the back, one in the armpit, several in the face. He’s being treated up at University Hospital at this time.”Officials say the victim is a male around 25-years-old and to clarify, he was shot three times in the back, once in the armpit, twice in the leg, once in the foot and multiple times in the face. The victim is currently in critical condition at UC Hospital as he did undergo surgery. Police are not releasing the description of the suspect at this time, but they are looking for him in a grey SUV.This is developing story that will be updated with information as we receive it.
