Platte-Geddes/Dakota Christian/White Lake and Winner/Colome advanced to the South Dakota High School Baseball Association Class B State Tournament with regional tournament wins on Monday.
In Platte, PG/DC/WL, the top seed in Region 4, first defeated eighth seed Lead-Deadwood 10-0, then won over fifth seed Gregory 18-2 for the region championship. Gregory had beaten Chamberlain/Kimball/Lyman 10-1.
In Winner, second seed Winner/Colome ran past seventh seed Rapid City Christian 13-3, then got by third seed Belle Fourche 7-2.
The Class B state tournament will be held May 30-31 at Sioux Falls Stadium.
