Be ready for rain at any point through Friday evening.It won’t be a consistent rain over two days, but Thursday is looking like it’ll be wetter than Wednesday was. Thankfully, it won’t be a complete washout, but we are looking wet for the rest of the weekend.Between the showers and storms, we’ll have windows of muggy sunshine, with highs in the 70s.Thursday will see “drier” weather in the morning, just some scattered ran, but by the afternoon, the rain will be more widespread and the threat for storms pick up between 1-3 p.m. By mid-afternoon, we have a threat for some stronger storms with areas of high water, some strong winds and maybe some hail, along with a low (but not zero) chance of a brief tornado.That strong storm threat fades around 7-8 p.m., however, rain will continue, at times heavy, overnight.Friday brings scattered showers off and on through the day with the potential for some thunder in the mix. It will be drying out through the evening.One to three inches of rain is expected through Friday. This would easily bump May 2022 from the ninth wettest on-record for Cincinnati to the top spot!Right now, with 8.17″ of rain this month, we are only 1.35″ away from the wettest May ever.Things are still looking nice, drier and less humid just in time for the holiday weekend. Sunshine returns Saturday, with highs in the mid-70s, then mid-80s Saturday and mid-to-upper-80s Memorial Day.It’s certainly looking like pool weather by Monday!
