INDIANAPOLIS — A man is dead following a hit-and-run crash on the south side of Indianapolis Friday night.
Officers with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department were dispatched around 10:50 p.m. to the 2300 block of E. Stop 11 Road after receiving reports that a serious crash occurred in the area.
Officers located an adult male in the street of East Stop 11 Road. Medics pronounced the man dead on scene, according to police.
Investigators say the man was crossing the street when he was hit by a vehicle. Investigators say the vehicle left the area, but could not give a description.
