A man is dead after being hit by a vehicle after crashing along I-75 near Linn Street.It happened around 12:22 a.m. when Cincinnati police were called to I-75 for a fatal crash.Police said 27-year-old Samuel Zerihun was driving on the interstate entrance ramp when he lost control of his vehicle, veered off the left side of the road and hit a tree. Police said he then got out of his vehicle and crossed the interstate, where he was hit by an oncoming vehicle.Zerihun was pronounced dead at the scene. The other driver and his passenger were not injured. Police said impairment appears to be a factor for Zerihun in the initial crash.He was not wearing a seat belt during the initial crash. The other driver and his passenger were wearing seat belts.Any witnesses to the crash are asked to contact the Cincinnati Police Department’s Traffic Unit at 513-352-2514.
