Then, J.Lo says it’s time to “pick your favorite red.” While she doesn’t disclose the exact red lipstick she uses, it looks like it’s this one from Kosas, which is a neutral brick red color (the old packaging was black).
She applies it to the middle of her lips straight from the bullet. “Then I take a lip brush and detail the corners,” she says as she creates small, precise strokes around the edges of her mouth. “When I think of red lips, I think of Marilyn Monroe, but I also think of Gwen Stefani. I think of Taylor Swift,” she says.
With the lip brush, she brings the color slightly outside the edge of her natural lip line to create a fuller, plumper look. “I always kind of draw a little bit bigger when I do a red lip,” she says. “You can kind of get away with that.”
