A resurfacing project will begin along north and southbound I-71 Friday, according to the Ohio Department of Transportation. The project will take place north of Pfeiffer Road and the Fields Ertel Road interchange beginning Friday and continuing through the following week. Single-lane closures with take effect at 8 p.m. followed by double-lane closures at 11 p.m. to allow ODOT crews to conduct pavement repairs. The Ohio Department of Transportation says traffic will be maintained and all traffic restrictions will be lifted by 6 a.m. the following day.
