INDIANAPOLIS — Police conducted a shooting investigation at a McDonald’s on the north side of Indianapolis on Sunday.
According to a public police report, Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers were dispatched to the McDonald’s located at 5198 N. Keystone Ave. around 3:15 p.m. Public emergency reporting systems indicated police were initially called to the scene on a report of a person shot.
When police arrived at the scene, they did not locate any shooting victims. As their investigation continued, officers located one spent shell casing and a bullet fragment.
IMPD did not identify any suspects or persons of interest in its report on the shooting.
