What some believe to be a scream picked-up by police bodycam the night four college students in Moscow, Idaho were slain in their beds has become the talk of a long-running investigation that has produced no suspects or motive.
That faint, high-pitch sound recorded at 3:12 a.m. on Nov. 14 is a topic of debate, according to Inside Edition. It was recorded by the bodycam of an officer responding to a seemingly unrelated early morning incident in the proximity of University of Idaho, where the victims were students.

The TV newsmagazine said some who have heard the recording believe the potential audio clue is a distant scream, while others think it’s the sound of car tires peeling away.
The barely audible noise may have been made around the time housemates Kaylee Goncalves, Madison Mogen, Xana Kernodle and Ethan Chapin died. Authorities hope it can help narrow down what happened and exactly when that act occurred.
A neighbor dozing off around 4 a.m. told the Idaho Statesman last week he thought he heard a scream in the vicinity of where the quartet of slain students was discovered that Sunday morning, but dismissed it as a “party sound.”
