The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office says they are searching for an inmate that escaped from University Hospital while undergoing treatment Sunday morning.Deputies say around 5:20 a.m., the inmate, identified as James C. Johnson, escaped. He was last seen wearing hospital pants, white t-shirt and leg shackles.Officials say he was last seen exiting University Hospital and his last known address is in Colerain Township.Johnson is described as having red hair, blue eyes and is 6’4″, 210 pounds and has multiple tattoos, including tear drops on his face.Anyone with information is asked to call the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office at 513-825-1500.Officials did not say what Johnson was being held in custody for.
