PIERRE – Pierre Governor girls golf was fourth of 12 teams Tuesday at the Pierre Invitational at Hillsview Golf Course.
The Governors shot 351 as a team. Rapid City Stevens won the event with 329, followed by Aberdeen Central with 336 and Huron with 350.
Haley Nadeau was best for Pierre individually, shooting 83 and finishing sixth. Ellie Jo Simpson shot 87, finishing tied for 11th. Hadley Hart fired an 89 to tie 17th. Madilyn Brakke tied for 22nd with a 92. Morgan Lisburg shot 98 and birdied the par-three eighth hole. Andrea Mosteller fired a 102.
Pierre’s second team shot 498. Hattie Baldwin scored 101, Temperance Uhrig shot 117, Drew Rechtenbaugh fired a 130, and Callie Gordon had 134.
Olivia Braun of Aberdeen and Taylor Wit of Rapid City Stevens shared individual honors with 77. Each made three birdies.
