In the second game, Brecken Krueger hit an RBI single in the fourth inning to put Pierre in the lead to stay.  In a three-run fifth inning, Lincoln Kienholz hit a two-run inside-the-park home run and Hunsley drove in a run with a single.  Jayden Wiebe hit a sacrifice fly in the sixth.  Spencer Easland pitched two scoreless innings for the victory in relief.

Pierre (14-12) is the eighth seed in the Class A regional tournament and will play number nine seed Yankton on Saturday at 5:00 PM at Ronken Field at Augustana University in Sioux Falls.  If the Governors win that game, they would play top seed Sioux Falls Roosevelt at 7:30 PM for a spot in the state tournament on May 28.
