MANILA, Philippines-The Philippines came back from an unexpected halftime deficit off a goalkeeping howler to beat Indonesia, 4-1, on Sunday and book a place in the semifinals of the Asean Football Federation (AFF) Women’s Championship at Rizal Memorial Stadium.

Sarina Bolden recorded her second hat trick in a national team jersey as the Filipinas responded from conceding their first goal of the competition to record their fourth win in four matches.

With 12 points, the Philippines remained ahead of Thailand going into their big match on Tuesday that will determine the top team in Group A.

A miscue by Inna Palacios after receiving Chantele Maniti’s back pass enabled Carla Bio Pattinasarany to put Indonesia on top in the 37th minute.

That miscue may have been the wake-up call the Filipinas needed as Tahnai Annis equalized three minutes after the restart before Bolden went on a rampage.

Bolden put the Philippines in front for good in the 58th, scoring off substitute Sara Eggesvik’s cross then added two more past the hour mark to seal another three points.
