MANILA, Philippines—Naturalized center Ange Kouame, Dwight Ramos and Kiefer Ravena are set to lead Gilas Pilipinas in its tune-up games against South Korea.

The Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas on Sunday announced the Philipines’ 12-man lineup for the exhibition games slated on June 17 and 18 at Anyang Gymnasium in Gyeonggi-do, South Korea.

Joining the three are University of the Philippines ace Carl Tamayo, Ateneo’s Dave Ildefonso, SJ Belangel and Geo Chiu, Far Eastern University guard RJ Abarrientos, Francis Lopez and Will Navarro.

Newcomers Rhenz Abando, the reigning NCAA MVP from Letran, and Kevin Quiambao also make up the squad.

The games are part of Gilas’ buildup for the upcoming third window of the Fiba World Cup Asian Qualifiers.

The last time the Philippines and South Korea met was back in June 2021 at the Fiba Asia Cup qualifiers where the Nationals beat their rivals twice to sweep the tournament.
