A Cottonwood man, 60-year-old Ryan Carter Thomas has been arrested for making threatening calls and filing false police reports.
According to the Cottonwood Police Department, on April 7, the Cottonwood Police and Fire Communications Center received a call from a man who made threats to fly an airplane into the building. It was one of several 911 calls the man made voicing his frustrations with local law enforcement. The man voiced his frustrations related to recent police contacts he experienced that were related to him residing in his recreational vehicle on state trust land without a valid permit.
The caller would not identify himself to 911 dispatchers, however he was later identified as Thomas.
