A Jefferson County Public Schools bus crashed on I-64 west near the Watterson Tuesday morning, and some student injuries have been reported. We’re told bus number 2015 is off the road.The crash happened at around 7:30 a.m. Several other vehicles pulled over at the time with people running toward the bus. Metrosafe reports the bus had 22 students on board headed to Manual High School. We’re told some are being taken to a hospital, but no other word on anyone’s condition.Traffic is significantly delayed in this area as the road is shut down. We will update this story as more information is available. Parents who believe their child may have been on that bus are asked to go to Waggener High School for more information.
