WATERTOWN – Pierre Governor Girls Golf shot 369 Tuesday to finish fourth of eight teams at the Watertown Invitational at Cattail Crossing Golf Course. The Governors finished four strokes behind third-place Watertown.
Madilyn Brakke and Ellie Jo Simpson both recorded top-15 finishes for Pierre. Brakke was 11th with an 88 that included an eagle on the 13th hole, a 234-yard par-4. Simpson shot 89 and placed 12. She birdied the par-4 third hole.
Morgan Lisburg shot 93 for Pierre and Hattie Baldwin and Hadley Hart each shot 99.
