Three people were wounded in a Lakeview East shooting early Monday, according to Chicago police, as celebrations following the Pride Parade were winding down.
Officers responded to the shooting in the 3100 block of North Clark Street around 1:30 a.m. A group of people had been standing outside when multiple shots were fired, police said.
A 46-year-old woman suffered a gunshot wound to the abdomen and paramedics took her to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in critical condition.
A 30-year-old man suffered a gunshot wound to the knee and paramedics took him to Advocate Illinois Masonic in good condition. Another man, a 37-year-old, suffered a wound to his leg and paramedics took him to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in good condition.
According to police, the people who were shot were unable to provide additional details about the circumstances of the shooting. No arrests have been made and detectives continue to investigate.
