The Animal Rescue League of Iowa is now treating 65 dogs and puppies after a large-scale rescue.The dogs came from a property owned by a breeder near Hedrick, Iowa, about an hour outside of Des Moines.Florida law enforcement contacted the Iowa ARL because they were investigating an animal neglect case. They said dogs had disappeared and were believed to be in Iowa. The dogs and puppies were found in overcrowded pens with little shelter.
