One person is dead after a motorcycle crash in Clermont County on Thursday.It happened around 6:55 p.m. pm Wards Corner Road in Miami Township.A preliminary investigation indicated a car was trying to make a left turn when it was hit by a motorcycle.The car then went off the left side of the road and hit a guardrail.The motorcycle rider, identified as Shawn Dane, 30, was pronounced dead at the scene.The driver of the car hit was not injured.A passenger in the car was treated at the scene for minor injuries.Dane was not wearing a helmet at the time of the car. Alcohol and/or impairment are not believed to be a factor in the crash.The crash remains under investigation by the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
