Holy Angels Cathedral: 640 Tyler St. — The Diocese of Gary will host a Day of Service on Aug. 17 as part of its Summer Eucharistic Revival, starting with a 9 a.m. Mass at the cathedral followed by service activities, including volunteering at the Saints Monica and Luke food pantry, landscaping at diocesan cemeteries, packing donations for area migrant workers, and more. The event will conclude with a 1 p.m. Community Cookout with the Franciscans.
