SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — The woman killed in a crash just west of Hot Springs Tuesday morning has been identified.
The Department of Public Safety says a tractor was traveling westbound on US Highway 18 near mile marker 29 pulling farm equipment. At the same, a car was approaching the farm vehicle from behind and collided with the rear end of the equipment.
The driver of the car, Judith Garland Wright, 38, from Hot Springs was killed in the crash. Two children in the car were injured in the crash. One sustained life-threatening injuries and the other, serious, non-life threatening injuries. They were transported to a hospital in Denver.
The South Dakota Highway Patrol continues to investigate the crash.
