SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — A woman who was injured in a crash near Sturgis on December 10 has died from injuries sustained in the crash.
The Department of Public Safety says a pickup truck was traveling westbound on Interstate 90 near mile marker 36 and lost control of the truck. The vehicle entered the center median and rolled.
Both the driver and a passenger were taken to the hospital. The driver sustained serious, non-life-threatening injuries. The passenger in the vehicle, an 80-year-old woman from Custer died from her injuries on December 16.
The name hasn’t been released pending family notification.
The South Dakota Highway Patrol continues to investigate the crash.
