MADISON, Wis. — In case you missed it, Democrats continue to lie about Brad Schimel and Susan Crawford’s record; we’re setting the record straight.
CLAIM:
FACTS on Crawford:
1) Susan Crawford was an attorney for far-left causes who worked to dismantle voter ID protections, and worked on behalf of far-left special interest groups like League of Women’s Voters, Sierra Club and Planned Parenthood.
2) Mark might not know, but Susan Crawford even defended big Pharma. Her client, Teva Pharmaceuticals, was price gouging, jacking up the cost of prescription drugs (as much as 1,000%) by both a jury and ruled by a Circuit Court.
FACTS on Schimel:
1) Judge Schimel has spent over 35 years working on behalf of Wisconsinites, giving harsh sentences to criminals, creating the survivor-focused sexual assault kit testing approach, and protecting Wisconsinites’ freedoms and the rule of law.
2) Schimel is the only one of the two candidates who is known to be impartial. Even the Wisconsin Institute for Law and Liberty said that as Attorney General, Schimel used an impartial approach and opposed their clients — on many occasions where his personal preferences likely agreed with their positions– Crawford hasn’t done that to the League of Women Voters, Planned Parenthood, or the Teachers Unions.
Bottom Line: Brad Schimel has a proven record of protecting the law and freedom above all else. Crawford is nothing more than a puppet for Democrats to hijack the Court and legislate from the bench.
