MADISON, Wis. – Yesterday, U.S. Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg visited Wisconsin to highlight how President Biden’s Bipartisan Infrastructure Law will make a once-in-a-generation investment in the state’s infrastructure. Over the next five years, Wisconsin is expected to receive over $5 billion from the Biden-Harris administration, which will rebuild Wisconsin’s roads and bridges, ensure clean drinking water is a right in every home across the state, and deliver high-speed internet to rural communities.

Secretary Buttigieg spoke with Gov. Evers, union leaders, and high school students about how the infrastructure law will build on the work Gov. Evers has done in the state and create good-paying jobs in Wisconsin – setting the Badger State up to be more competitive in the 21st century.
